If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs please follow the steps below.

• • Take a look at our Dogalogue
  • Call one of our volunteers for more information on the dog/s you are interested in
  • One of our volunteers will interview you as a potential owner over the telephone
  • If both parties agree an appointment for a home check will be made
  • Once the home check has been completed & providing it has met AVAR general standards & specific requirements of the dog in question we will arrange for you to meet the dog
  • Once AVAR are happy that the dog will be cared for appropriately we will issue Adoption papers for signature
  • Please note that we ask to to pay an adoption fee of £250 to cover vaccination, chipping and speying or neutering.
