Groot being rehomed by Evesham Lurcher Rescue
UPDATE: Groot came into the rescue as a stray. After gaining some much-needed weight, he has embraced life and is enjoying exploring the world and learning all about being a much-loved family member. Groot is a big, long-legged Saluki with an affectionate, fun-loving personality. He loves meeting people, leans into you for fuss, and will happily climb onto your lap, completely unaware of his size. He adores his ball, toys, and his paddling pool, where you’ll often find him happily lying on hot days.

HONEY - DUTCH HERDER X - HOMING BY MAX & GEORGE TRUST
Honey is approx 4 years old who is speyed and looking for an experienced home where they can build on her confidence and further her training.
Sadly, Honey, her brother & their pup proved to much for their previous family and kept in a small box room. Consequently, this meant that the dogs were rarely walked and under socialised which was immediately evident in their behaviour upon arriving in rescue.
Honey was extremely triggered by birds, chasing & pulling and barking even when in the sky which are all associated with a high prey drive and under socialisation. A very anxious young girl.
Moving on and with the training and understanding of the rescue Honey now enjoys her walks and content to spend her time with nose to floor, taking in all the smells instead of watching the sky.
Her trainer believes in the right home, where the family will stick to the training plan she will continue to thrive.
If interested in Honey please contact Lauren @ M&G Trust on 07523366738

NESSIE BEING REHOMED BY BOYCIES BRIDGE
Nessie is a 4 yr old beautiful natured staffy. She is spey and fully vaccinated. Nessie can get a little itchy on her skin but if kept on strictly grain free, and fish based no issue. As you can see our Nessie needs to go to weight watcher and so is on diet and exercise routine which in her new home she must keep to until a nice slim girl.
Nessie is good around other dogs but we feel that she would be more comfortable with a calmer male or on her own.
If interested Nessie go onto Boycies Bridge facebook page and see more information.

OREN being rehomed by Evesham Lurcher Rescue
Meet Oren 🐾Age: 3 yearsWeight: 19kgHeight: 23 inches to the shoulderHi, I’m Oren! I’ve been enjoying life in my foster home for a little while now while I wait for my forever family to find me. My foster mum thought it was time to tell you a little more about me.I’m a friendly, affectionate boy who could happily live with another well-matched dog, or equally enjoy being the only dog in the home. I love playing with other dogs, as long as they’re kind to me—I can be a bit of a softie and don’t appreciate bullies!Because I have a strong chase instinct, I’m not suitable to live with cats or any small furry animals. For the same reason, I need to stay on lead when out and about, as I know I’d struggle to resist chasing wildlife if I got the chance. I do get excited when I spot squirrels or cats on walks, but when there aren’t any distractions, I walk beautifully on the lead.I’m a great traveller and love hopping in the car for new adventures. I settle down quickly and travel really well.I’m fully house-trained and always make sure I do my business outside. I’m also happy to be left home alone for around 3–4 hours. During that time, I’ll most likely curl up for a nap, so I’m not destructive and I don’t have any accidents.Food is one of my favourite things! I have lovely manners around food and treats, happily eating alongside other dogs without any issues. When taking treats from people, I’m always gentle and never snatch.I’m lucky to have lots of doggy friends in my neighbourhood and love meeting new dogs with a wagging tail. I’m a very social lad who enjoys making new friends wherever I go.At home, nothing beats cuddle time on the sofa. I absolutely love affection and quality time with my people. Sometimes I forget I’m not actually a lap dog and try to squeeze on for extra cuddles! I’m also an excellent supervisor, whether you’re cooking, gardening, or doing jobs around the house. In fact, I’m quite the enthusiastic gardener myself—I happen to think I’m an expert hole digger thanks to plenty of practice! My new home will need a secure garden with 6ft fencing, as I can jump surprisingly high if I catch the scent of a deer or spot a cheeky squirrel running along the fence. While I’m very friendly and sociable with adults, I do find young children quite worrying and become stressed around them. Because of this, I’m looking for an adult-only home where I can feel safe, relaxed and truly be myself. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who enjoys adventures, cuddles, and being part of everyday family life, I could be the perfect match. I can’t wait to find my forever home.Male3 YearsSmooth Coat22″ to shoulderGood with other dogsNot good with catsNot good with childrenVideoBackGet in touch with us about this lovely dog!Pip: 01386 853971 (Weekdays after 5pm, Weekends anytime)Linda: 01212 584510 (Weekdays after 5pm, Weekends 10am – 10pm)mail@lurcher.org.uk
